MUSIC ACADEMY OF THE WEST

For over 60 years the Music Academy of the West has provided exceptional young musicians with the opportunity for advanced study and intensive performance in a uniquely beautiful and supportive environment.
Each June the Music Academy welcomes these talented musicians from around the world for eight weeks of study and perform in one of five programs: Instrumental, Solo Piano, Collaborative Piano, Vocal Piano, and Voice. Selected through a competitive, merit-based admission process, each Academy Fellow receives full tuition, room, and board. The Music Academy's intimacy, elite faculty, and idyllic beauty make for a truly transformative experience.
As part of its school program, the Music Academy presents a festival of more than 175 classical music events featuring Fellows, faculty, and acclaimed guest artists and conductors. Summer days are filled with public master classes, where audiences observe the Academy's instructional process firsthand. In addition to this core experience, the Academy presents chamber music concerts, recitals, orchestral concerts, a fully staged opera, public dress rehearsals, and vocal and concerto competitions – all to the delight of music-lovers from across the nation. You are invited to take part in the incomparable Music Academy Summer Festival. Half of all festival events can be attended free of charge.
Charitable donations are essential to the Music Academy's full-scholarship program. Without generous, sustained support, the Academy would be unable to admit talented musicians regardless of their ability to pay tuition and housing costs.
Please help us maintain the Academy's standing as one of the nation's premier summer schools and festivals for gifted young classical musicians. Visit the Music Academy of the West at www.musicacademy.org.
