LOTUSLAND

Ganna Walska Lotusland, a 37-acre botanical estate garden containing subtropical and tropical plants from around the world, is located in a residential neighborhood in Montecito, just east of Santa Barbara. Lotusland is home to several extraordinary collections of rare cycads, cacti, palms and euphorbias. Additional gardens feature ferns, aloes, succulents, lotuses, water lilies, and bromeliads. Themed gardens include the blue garden, theatre garden, butterfly garden and a Japanese garden. Other classic features are the water stairs, topiary garden, horticultural clock and a parterre.

Docent-guided tours are offered at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM, Wednesday through Saturday between February 15 and November 15. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Visitor Services office at 805-969-9990 or by sending an email to reservation@lotusland.org. Adults $35; ages 5-18 $10; 4 and under, no charge. Members visit free. Visit our website at www.lotusland.org.
