ASSOCIATION EVENTS

The Montecito Association hosts three community events every year:  The Village 4th of July, Beautification Day and the Holiday Magic Car Parade.

 

The Village 4th of July Parade and Celebration includes a short parade from Upper Manning Park to Lower Manning Park along San Ysidro Road at 11:30 am.  Community members are invited to participate in the parade and compete for awards or watch the parade pass by.  After the parade, we gather for music, lunch and interscholastic competitions in Lower Manning Park.  Click here to view Village 4th photos.

 

Beautification Day is held on the first Saturday in November.  We gather at the Upper Village Green in front of Tecolote Books for continental breakfast and assignment of trash pickup routes.  Many local nonprofits and service groups table at the Green.  After beautifying the community, we gather to honor the Montecito Citizen of the Year, bestow Beautification Awards and enjoy a hot dog and chili lunch provided by the Montecito Fire Fighters.  

Holiday Magic Car Parade is a motor parade through the streets of Montecito. You are invited to register your vehicle in the car parade. Community members gather along the parade route and cheer as the vehicles roll by with festive lights and music.
