The Montecito History Committee was formed in 1975 to collect information, photos and any materials that document and illuminate the history of Montecito. It maintains an archive in the Montecito Community Hall (1469 East Valley Road) for its collection in order to make it and its information available to the public.

The office is open from 10-12 and 2-4 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and by appointment.
